Where I’ve been, …and what I bring

After 37+ years of industry experience, I won’t wax on about all the gory details. I started off in electronics, learned about software and learned how to ‘fix’ anything while giving great customer service. I’ve been asked to build and then lead highly skilled technical support groups with critical mandates in mini computers and then Internet and international networks.

After Y2K, I was asked to join a marketing team as a Product Manager. I have researched, justified built and managed products and product portfolios which broadened by business acumen. I did like to ‘fix’ but I also love to ‘create’ business lines that have grown and brought value to customers.

My areas of focus have been data and the surrounding managed services including Infrastructure, network performance, UC, Wavelength and shared service management tools. I evolved my Managed Security that included Firewalls, SIEM, Security Monitoring and Analytics, DDoS as well as mobile threat detection.

Over time, I’ve taken on a variety technologies, often from a standing start and grew into the challenges. I pride myself on being able to influence cross functional groups with clear communications all the way to executive levels.

The learning from each experience has added to my skills in Product Management and writing skills to comfortably offer these relevant services.
